Hi to all,

last night the sky was clear, after a long monsoon season. Jupiter was beaconing above my head at 5 AM, seeing was almost perfect and also transparency unusually good. This image is the composite of 5 RGB with captures of 60 s each, for a total of around 15 min.

Best Regards

Tiziano

Undoubtedly the finest earth-based image of Jupiter I've ever seen. Well done!

Thanks a lot for your kind comments, the colors are quite easy to balance when the transparency is good, which is rare here in Bangkok.

No, I just used Astrosurface sharpening filter. I abhor AI for image processing banned.gif

Incredible detail. Best image I've ever seen from a ground based telescope. The seeing definitely was near perfect. Congratulations!

Thank you so much for the enthusiastic reactions, appreciated.

The unprocessed videos look very good, lot of detail are visible in the live stream, and the planet is very stable. I keep the gain not too high to reduce the noise, despite having lower fps. I prefer less frames of higher quality.
