The forecast is Sunny to Mostly Sunny through next Thursday, which is nuts and that is as far as the weather app shows, so it may go on for longer! I think I can squeak by tomorrow, but I'll definitely have to clear things off the HD before Thursday. Of course, seeing won't be good all of those days...I guess....it's just not possible...in Ohio...in October...

Anyway, got the tail end of the GRS transit first thing this morning with okay results, then took a breakfast break, went back out and with the extra altitude, got better results. I believe this image is 4x3 minutes. I did Mars, but it's just more of the same....

Same forecast (at least for clarity) here - I was astonished when I saw it yesterday.

However, I wouldn't expect the seeing to be up to much for most of it, given experience with past Octobers. We shall see!

I should have kept my trap shut! Seeing was terrible this morning! Walking out, things looked good...couldn't detect much twinkling with the unaided eye, but there was a high frequency jitter, collimation was impossible and focusing was a futile endeavor!
