Saturn captured from my back patio on October 10, 2024.

 

Optical train: C9.25=>GSO Barlow (1.5X)=>ZWO UV/IR Cut Filter=>ZWO ADC=>ZWO 485MC OSC camera

 

Mount: Skywatcher EQ6R-Pro

 

Software: SharpCap Pro 4.1, AS!4, AstroSurface

 

Gain=503, exposure=5.0620ms; 6 minute recording; stacked 25% of 38679 frames

Nice, but a bit noisy, probably because of the fast shutter speed and high gain settings.

 

If I were you, I'd increase the exposure time to 10ms, reduce the gain setting and capture at 100 fps. Actually, this is what I do!

Thanks for the advice I’ll give those settings a try!
