Yes, incredible. Second aurora display visible from suburban London in less than 6 months! Hadn't happened in decades!

Unless you are blanketed by clouds like myself (sad)

Bozeman was cloudy as well so I decided to drive a few hours north to our hideout in Augusta.  Vibrant display just after I got here.  Scrambling to gather my gear out of the truck and realized that, in my rush, I forgot my tripod.  Had to improvise but got a few decent images.  Dark and lonely spot, the coyotes are howling right now.

The house on the property is the old Great Northern Depot that was moved out here from town.

Maryland, south of the Mason Dixon!   An amazing evening.    Could not believe it, even in Bortle 7 conditions you could see the color hues.   With an ipad or Iphone things jumped right out.    Never thought I would see this kind of display this far south.  All the neighbors were taking pictures and posting images on line.   It was fun to see so many folks engaged in a bit of astronomy!

amazing captures everyone!  Thanks for sharing.

The show was only about 15 minutes for me around 9:15pm chicago time.    Later that evening there was a second wave around 2am but it was not as impressive.

From northern New Mexico (latitude 35 N).  Twice in one week is pretty amazing!

Here's an iPhone 15 Pro Max shot of the Naylor Observatory's French Dome during Thursday night's remarkable aurora.
