Somehow the weather cooperated. Even seeing was somewhat decent. There are some really nice lightbridges and umbral structures. Shapes of granules are also well resolved.

Lovely capture Lajos!
I was out doing WL/Hb/540nm visually with my TS152RFT about 4h later - nice development in the ARs there!
Cheers from Canada

Lajos,
I am most impressed by your ability in this capture to actually SEE granular structure within the umbrae! Most impressive!
I assume that this ZWO New-G is the LRGB filter set with the "G=green" filter, covering ~490-570nm?
That is the set I refer to - correct?
Also, what scope did you use? I see 150/2400 in the frame there. Just curious!
Cheers and keep those superbly detailed shots coming, sir!

Thanks!
Yes, that is the green filter in that "new" set.
It's a newtonian Skywatcher extended with a 2x Barlow lens so effectively 2400 mm focal length.

So you were able to use that Astrosolar film 3.8 with your scope 150mm? It covered it fine? how you placed or mounted that solar film if you have the sheet?
Where did you place that green filter in the setup path?

Lajos' shot there really is a superbly nice one! Not only does it capture very well the granular structures within the umbrae of several spots well, there's also some fantastic structural rendering of the penumbral filaments in the upper spot, especially.
That ZWO-newG filter really did a superior job with the monochrome camera there! I expect that you'll have several folks querying about this setup, Lajos!
My semi-educated guess is that the ZWO G filter allows really good coverage of the brightness differences (read: temperature) within the umbrae very well. I may have to get one to try in my wedge with my 152 RFT!
Neat...
Darren.

Yes, I bought a 20x30 cm piece and made a thick/dense cardboard holding cell for it spanning whole 150 mm of the aperture.
Photon path is like this: astrosolar 3.8, primary mirror, secondary mirror, borosilicate barlow 2x, color filter, camera sensor.

Nice, thank you!
