SDO is the Solar Dynamics Observatory and HMI is the
Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager aboard the spacecraft
which is in geosync orbit.  A large (~ 1.8 MB) HMI image of
the sun (4096x4096) has been colorized and annotated here
with all sunspots identified:

Please use the above link to download the full image and
zoom in to enlarge sun spots.  The Thumbnail below is a
~ 75 KB version of the image (double click it for the UT).

-----------------------------------------------------------
Note:  The unprocessed data (from which the above JPEG
images were derived) comprise ~10 MB in GIF format, are
updated every 15 minutes, and can be accessed here:

Also below is an H alpha image of the full sun taken with
one of the GONG (Global Oscillation Network Group)
telescopes on the same date and at a UT near that of the
above HMI image.  Double click the H alpha image for
the GONG telescope used and the UT.

Cheers,

The sunspot group (4 tiny spots) to the right of center is 3853. No need for a ? there, right?

AR 3853 should be much farther to the east and I don't see anything there.

I think the group with the question mark has been ignored for several days.

I think you're right. 3853 vanished on the 12th it seems.
