I took several moon shots the other night, I just never got around to processing them all. I'm not very familiar with names of Lunar craters. I know a few, but considering I've imaged the moon many, many times, I should know more than I do. I think I might have to get my hands on a moon map of some sort. Anyways all of these image were between 1,500 and 1,800 frames of which I stacked the best 25% of in AS3, and processed them all with nearly identical settings in Registax 6 and Photoshop CS4. Scope used was my 8" Cave Astrola with a Televue 3x barlow and my ASI120MC-S. Thanks for looking and clear skiessmile.gif

Thank you for sharing your images, Mike!    If you are looking for a hard copy moon atlas, I would recommend the Duplex Moon Atlas by Stoyan, which will have the correct orientation for your reflector arrangement.    If you have a smartphone, there are good apps.  I use Moon Globe effectively on my iPhone.   Also, Virtual Moon Atlas (VMA) is a good freeware package for windows computers.

Moon Globe is great... particularly on my iPad.
