Hello friends, i have this issue with CPWI and wifi connection to mount (AVX with Skyportal wifi module).  When I connect to the PC Mount (Computer in Mount runnig windows 10) trough Remote Desktop this blocks the connection of CPWI to Mount.  I checked this in Google and tell that probably are some TCP port issues, that the Remote desktop has a conflict with CPWI but it seem to use different port.  For CPWI and Wifi uses this ports
[CPWI.exe] TCP    192.168.1.2:61640      192.168.1.20:2000      ESTABLISHED     4300
[CPWI.exe] TCP    [::]:135               [::]:0                 LISTENING       892
and for Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) the default port assigned is 3389.
I also checked Firewall configuration but it seems to be ok.

By the way when i connect without usind RDP just PC mount throug Wifi all is ok, connection is stabished without any issue.   Any help thanks in advance.

So you are running CPWI on your laptop and you connect to a Windows computer that's attached to the mount?

Why don't you just run a USB from the hand controller to your little windows computer and install CPWI there.  As far as I understand, that is the way it is supposed to work.  You can get Alpaca if you want to connect to a planetarium on your working computer.  But if you've gone to all the trouble of connecting a little PC to your mount, why not just let it do all the work?

USB via bottom of handset to PC/laptop that has cpwi on it is how I had mine for years, it works. If using a mininpc with wifi, you'll have to do some registry editing to get rdp to run correct

It's true, I've been using the same method for a while now too and it works very well, but my main goal is to eliminate the handset and the serial to USB converter cable that are already quite bulky and instead a WiFi connection that has already been proven to work very well.  But its true this issue is caused by RDP that is blocking other connections.  Thanks i will look for reg edit.
