Loving this combo. Slowly been working my way up to my "permanent" telescope, mainly because of beginner inexperience and undefined goals. I have imaged now with a few mounts that have come and gone in the last few years such as an AVX, EQ6-R Pro, a GEM28, and a CEM70. As well as a few telescopes such as my very first telescope, a C6 that I used with a Canon DSLR. This was followed by an Esprit 100ED, a Radian61, a RedCat71, a WO 81GT,  an EdgeHD8, and lastly an Askar 151PHQ. All wonderful telescopes, but not fitting to my needs. See a trend though? Mostly increasing in focal length. Finally settled on an EdgeHD 11. Seeing as how I had the most joy from this hobby out of this telescope, I decided to make it "permanent" and built an inexpensive, yet rather sturdy pier. It even came with a built-in coffee mug holder! Good guiding numbers so far, which my image scale surely appreciates.

Very nice image and processing OBLander.

Thank you! I feel like I am getting there slowly. This is one of the first examples of me learning Pixinsight. Prior to this I processed with Siril by only stacking and stretching my images. Also, I just now started doing calibration frames, I am not sure why I was so resistant to this concept before, inexperience I suppose!

Looking at that monster sct on that relatively tiny strain wave mount blows my mind. Those mounts are capable of handling such loads with ease, compare that tiny thing to even an eq6r and the difference in weight and size is insane. If this image had surfaced just a few years back when no one knew about these mounts it would have been the butt of jokes, we’d have thought it was either a joke or you were going to smash an 11” sct double quick.

Haha! I agree. For guided photography these mounts are insanely capable!
