Need help identifying this EP. The EP is made by Vixen and the EP does attach (need to remove my VB) to my Mayflower 816 focusing tube . Is this EP junk or can I use it with my 80ED OTA providing I can locate an adapter?

Its a 30mm Kellner.
Not multicoated, maybe not even single coated, so some throughput and reflection/glare issues, narrow FOV. Some might call that outdated.
Others might look for it to restore some long focus vintage scope, likely to struggle a bit in a modern fast scope.
Likely not worth paying someone to custom machine an adapter to fit a modern drawtube, but possibly a fun ATM project.
So it really depends - one man's junk, anothers treasure.

I remember these. Optically, definitely not junk. But narrow field, no coatings and an oddball barrel make it a challenge.
However I will suggest its time has passed and look for an APM Ultraflat 24mm which offers the widest possible field in a 1.25" barrel, superbly sharp, with modern coatings. or UFF 30mm if your scope can take 2" ep's.
