I have fallen in love with this scope..

https://www.firstlig...DQxNC4wLjAuMA..

But before I can get it I need to confirm that it will be able to work with my 2600MC DUO. And by that I mean the image circle is big enough to fully illuminate the guide chip as well as the main camera chip.

Ive searched all over and havnt seen any posts that relate to this. The vendor thinks it might if I use this CC...

But cant guarantee it.

This is a big investment for a 70 year old retired guy (Id have to sell my Fender Strat and Taylor guitar to get it).

So I want solid evidence before I do.

Anyone out there using a DUO with a 8" F/5 scope?

The DUO needs an image circle of at least 44mm. So you need a minimum of an M48 adapter with M54 being ideal. The vendor should be able to confirm this.

And since this scope needs a cc, I would think that image circle size would apply to it as well.

The vendor (FLO) said this about the GPU cc.

"https://www.firstlig...-corrector.html - Offers corrected stars/imaging circle for larger format sensors and is well proven with larger sensors, so it should work well with the DUO as well."

I just would feel better hearing this from an actual user of this rig.
