I observed Io disappearing into eclipse using the Naylor Observatory's 17" f/15 classical Cassegrain at 185x (35mm Bresser 70-degree AFOV).

The GRS is about 1/3rd of the way across the disk of Jupiter.

Here's a screen shot from Stellarium.

I’ve been observing the GRS transit using the Naylor Observatory’s 17” classical Cassegrain at 116, 162, 170, 185, and 216x with and without a light blue color filter. The best view was at 170x with the color filter.

Io has emerged from occultation and is just off of the NEB.

The GRS is currently about 3/4ths of the way across Jupiter’s disk.
