Hello friends, I need your help. I have a Orion Atlas Eq-G Mount, and a Synscan Wifi of Sky-Watcher. I was reading that I can use it on my Atlas. I thing there are two ways:

1- buy a cable that works like interface between DB9 (Atlas) and RJ45 (SW Wifi).

2- create a cable that works with it.

If someone can help me, I really appreciate.

Clear skies

If you don't have the cables that came with the wifi adapter you should be able to use the coiled cord that connects the hand controller to the mount. The wifi adapter gets plugged into the same port that the hand controller uses.

The SynScan plugs into the RJ-45 handset port on the mount replacing the hand controller.  There should be no need to use an adapter cable.

The mount has an RJ-45 connector on it that is where a HC usually plugs in at.  You plug the SynScan in there instead. The cables for the SynScan should have a RJ-45 connector included on one of the cables, this is what you use to plug into the mount.  You would not use the DB9 as this is a serial connection and is used for external control of the mount.  The SynScan is like a hand controller only it lets you use your smartphone to control the mount instead of a PC or a separate controller.
