See spaceweather.com today for a pic of whats now. In the article, SW also posted a link to this modeling forecast of whats soon to come. I wonder how much "buyers remorse" there will be?

All of these just makes me appreciate the folks that track and coordinate launches to prevent collisions.

The USAF Space Command (a small part of AF) now tracks 20,000 objects.
It won't take long to lose track of a significant % of 70,000 or 80,000 'objects.' A couple friends, know and work with some in the Space Force, and tell me they barely know 'which way is up.' And just read local news here today, that the 'fight' of where the SC HQ will be, is again starting up, after being settled just 2 or 3 years ago. To understate it, no one is 'impressed' with certain pronouncements from D.C.
Triple or quadruple their 'work load' when no one knows if they're coming or going, and the probability of a 'failure' goes up with the cube of the number of objects. They only have to 'miss once' on a big one or two, to set off the Kesler Syndrome. Don't forget, SNAFU and FUBAR are military acronyms.
