Hi everyone, and greetings from sunny South Africa.

 

I recently found the below telescope in a box from my late father.

 

Does anyone perhaps recognise what it is? Age? Manufacturer? etc. There are no makers marks that I can find.

Interesting, probably a military item - focus and read off distance. "For Cavalry"?

Ask these people.  That scope you have may be worth something, the brass collar is unusual.

Maybe. I think both here and at the ATS, there is a low priority on small handheld instruments, also on military equipment, so being an old brass military scope might be as far as you get.
