Hey folks!
So I picked up a beautiful old Celestron SPC-6 Newtonian with the wooden ED mount on Facebook Marketplace for $130. It has a "sled" style focuser that moves the secondary mirror further and closer away from the primary, which I've never seen before. Does it matter what position on the sled the eyepiece is in when I collimate it? At first I thought I mattered but now upon reflection (ha!) it seems to me that since the sled is simply focusing the eyepiece, it doesn't matter. At any rate, if anyone has knowledge or experience on this I'd appreciate it!
Thanks!
