It's been cloudy out East for a couple months, but tonight is clear. I was able to bring my DSLR and tripod and get some photos of the starry night sky, Pleiades, and Jupiter

before the cold set it in like it usually does in Canada. For other astro photographers and astronomers the weather hasn't been too conductive to observing in the East lately I would imagine...

We always enjoy looking at members photos of the night sky. To post them here, you have to downsize them quite a bit and the process is tricky until you get the hang of it. Picresize.com is the website I use because it's easy. Just download the picture and follow the directions then be sure to save it to files. Then hit More Reply Options in the lower right hand corner. I'm having fun with a Seestar S50 telescope/camera. It takes snapshots of DSO's that are pretty nice.
