Can someone point me where this is in SharpCap?

 

"..adjust the gain so the peak level (as shown by the level bars on the real-time histogram) is around 50-70% of maximum"

 

I can see the histogram in Live Stacking, but during planetary captures, I am not sure how to use this to follow the advice above from the FAQ.

Your best option would be to use Firecapture.
