Here is my second try at some long term star motion GIFs. This is 61 Cygni which is a binary star of mag 5.2 and 6.0 in Cygnus. This system moves at 5 arc-sec/year. I captured a 3.2 year span here so they have moved about 16 arc-sec. Different scopes and cameras were used 3 years apart so had to resize/rescale etc. I did a little better job of that his time. I plan to redo my Barnard's star GIF as I found a better way to rescale and align up images.

I love it! Very inspiring (I have been wanting to do something like that for decades now, maybe it is time to get the plan in motion before I kick the bucket).

Speaking of which - would love to hear what's on your (astronomical) bucket list.

I'm betting this and your Barnard's star GIF will inspire lots of copycats!  You roped me in for sure!
