OK i am stuck again on processing my photos from back when we had the eclipse this year here in Dallas, Texas.  I have a bunch of photos that are of the sun with the moon covering it more and more.  So far i cannot get the images to align when creating a movie file properly.  I tried to use PIPP and while it can stitch them together it cannot seem to align them properly as the sun moves all over the place and i have tried changing every setting i can think of.  I have watched a few videos on how to process in PIPP and looked at the help files, but they all detail using AVI files and mine are all FITS files that i need to stitch into an AVI.  Admittedly these images were taken on a non-tracking camera tripod so the images DO move around a bit but i need something besides the manual method in MaximDL to align these, There are over 800 photos and i do NOT want to have to edit them by hand.  I had this issue once before with a full disk image and i was able to figure that out with your help but now i cannot for the life of me get the same processes to work (except manually in MaximDL) for the non-full disk images of the Eclipse.  Please someone tell me an easier way to do this?
