tn_gallery_448822_28045_11772.jpgHas anyone jammed a 5G dongle into the back of a ZWO pro and tried to connect to your laptop? is this a good idea s it eliminates another wire on the scope? Yea I am that new.

Zwo did it but im sure others have tried what you suggested and it would be well known if that worked :)

I tried it, did not work. The Air couldn't or wouldn't install the require drivers. Solved the wifi problem by attaching a small router / extender to my mount, used that to connect the ASIAir to my home wifi. 

 

This was with an earlier version of the Air. The current version has much better wifi range and can connect directly to my house network from out in the yard.
