After Windows update (KB5046633), I was unable to connect to my ZWO filter wheel in NINA.     Everything else was OK (ZWO cameras etc.) just the filter wheel which gave an error:  ‘initialiser for TiGra.Diagnostics threw an exception’.    I tried reinstalling the ZWO drivers with no success.

When I uninstalled the Windows update, the filter wheel connected OK again.    I would like to keep the computer up to date with security patches, however

 

Anyone else have this issue and found a solution?

Sure, yours is the EWF; the link was the EAF, but the problem type seems related. Worth a shot IMO.

 

Disabling .NET 3.5 is the sort of shenanigans that companies love to do with updates. "Oh, it won't affect many people and the ones it will affect can figure it out. Ship it!"*.

 

*Not an actual quote. But experience in the industry. .NET 3.5 is ~17 yrs old.

Thanks for the replies.  It's the latest NINA stable release.

 

I'll try the Net 3.5 reinstall.
