Not a big image, but looks clean. I had to manually enter UTs in WinJUPOS because I forgot to use a check box in SharpCap. What a pain...

Like others, caught the storm in the SEB. Is there a new storm in the NEB, too? AZ Frank's Dec 4th Jupiter image, shows what I'm asking about really well.

Looking good Paul, actually the two outbreaks developed about the same time around mid November. Chris Go was one of first to notice it.

I remembered I could apply Lucy Richardson deconvolution in AstraImage. But I think it is too noisy. Used 1.6 PSF and 3 iterations. The noise must be from too much gain in the original video captures. Same problem while sharpening in Registax 6. Time to give WaveSharp a try.

Nice images! waytogo.gif

You could also apply some tweaking in GIMP to tighten up your image and reduce the noise:

Great capture of that storm in the SEB.

I reckon you're coming along nicely with the "getting back into the saddle" phase of imaging again Paul..! waytogo.gif

This time I applied LRD to the final RGB, Darryl. But, I'm thinking 4 years ago, I  applied it to the individual FITs before combining in WinJUPOS. The seven decade old noggin is not as fast as it use to be.
