1. Because the precision is nowhere near the values either program report. More like +- an arc minute not arc second.
2. There is more than one alignment aim point. You can have the real pole or the refracted pole. They are not in the same place.
3. It does not matter. Either is close enough unless you are building elaborate models for unguided imaging.

I don't run NINA, but I use a SC polar alignment check every night to assure nothing happened to the setup.
But I have never seen PHD2 and SCPA agree.
