Happy Friday. Forgot in the subject line that this was with the SHG Sol'ex. To all the sol'ex imagers, can you let me know what technique you employ to make your images sharp? This is the challenging part in imaging with a sol'ex. For some reason my CAK image came out sharper than my HA and i basically used the same method with both when I captured.

I agree - the surface often has an 'orange peal' rough look to it. I expect it from the CaK image, but not the Ha one.

You could take your Ha image into GIMP, invert it (so it's a normal view wink.gif ), and then apply some sharpening and contrast to it, of course.
