Does anyone have a download of the Seestar V2.0.0 software that they would be willing to share with me?  I have a modest tablet with less than 6 GB RAM, and was unaware that the new update wouldn't work with it.  I upgraded the software to the most recent V2.2 and now I can't see the live view on my tablet.  I would love to try going back to the previous version if possible.

I can share a google drive that this could be uploaded to since the file size is large.  Thanks in advance to anyone able to help!

You may want to check ZWO's latest update released earlier today. App V2.2.1/scope firmware version 3.68. Based on comments in the S50 Facebook group, this issues with "6GB" min requirements on Android and the lack of Live View appears to be resolved .

Please note I'm an iOS user and have yet to install the last two of these updates. I'm waiting for feedback on this latest update before doing so.

Update:  I just updated to V2.2.1 software and it "seems" to have fixed it.  I couldn't really test it because I was totally clouded out last night, but at least I seem to be getting an image on the tablet screen again in Stargazing mode.  Fingers crossed!

There are several other threads posting this same thing, have a look at them and comments.

I did upgrade to 2.2.1, and it does seem to do what its supposed to, but ive noticed something a lil odd , especially when using mosaic mode.  This is not a complaint, but simply an observation.

Im not sure if its memory (4gb) or just plain processing power that is causing it , but the little thing is now using a LOT more processing in mosaic mode (rotating/slewing/platesolving etc.) but the unit wasnt originally built with this in mind....also, i do believe the actual processing is done on the unit, not the app, so tablet memory shouldnt even come into play at all if thats the case

Basically, what ive noticed is that just before each move, i seem to get 2/3 dropped frames almost every time, and once the new area shows up on screen, its immediately followed by a much lower reject rate until the next move

even using just the restack feature is SLOW, averaging around 6/7 sec per frame to rotate/stack.

Im wondering, are half my subs rejected due to "star trails"? or processing power?

Ill be curious to see how the s30 fares in that regard, as it was actually built with this in mind

Right. You don't even need to keep the app open while Seestar does its thing.
