At large group events, how are flat frames taken?

I put my light pad or phone on top of my telescope or lens and cover the whole thing with the telescope cover or even a paper bag.  Yes, some light leaks out, but I do it towards morning when only the die-hards are still around and I have never had any complaints.

I designed and 3D printed a case around my Elumiglow panel. It slides over the end of the refractor and doesn't leak. For my SCT's I point it up and use a black drop cloth over it. My design is parametric meaning it can be scaled to fit anything up to the size of the print bed. I'm working on a modification to allow it scale up to 11" by cutting it into quarters so it fits on the bed: https://www.thingive...m/thing:5748611

I use to do my flats in the twilight or dusk. Seems to work ok.

I take them a bit before sunset or if that is not possible, the morning after before it gets too bright.
