I took this around 2pm with my Lunt 50mm F7 H/a  single stack scope and my ASI120MC-S. I'm certainly no expert in at imaging and especially solar, but I'm confident enough to say that this image is at least good. There are people using larger aperture and double stacks that really put me to shame. I've seen other images from say a 60mm single stack Lunt that was so good, I thought it was double stacked. Silly mesmile.gif Anyhoo, the image consists of the best 25% of 2,300 frames stacked in AS3 and processed with ImPPG and Photoshop CS4. Thanks for looking and clear skies.

I'd say this gets the GONG stamp of approval!!:

Wow, thanks Gary! Especially for taking the time to make that comparison and share it with me. I didn't realize how closely mine resembles the GONG images. I wonder what they used to get that image.

You're welcome!

All of the GONG sites have the same setup and equipment. I believe the scopes have a 28mm aperture only, with a 1000mm FL.
