Maybe it is more effective to go after small towns and shame the metro areas into becoming environmentally sensitive.

Sisters Oregon's application for dark sky status has just been approved by the Dark Sky International!

Put it on your list for spring. Its really low, i.e. much warmer than thre rest of eastern Oregon.
