I will compare these intertesting eyepeices in bino mode, and will post my findings here both for physical and optical comparation.

While APO SS binoviewer does not suffer from false colours, not from spherical error, like my Baader Mark V binoviewer does, its will be great to do that comparation in binoviewer mode using APO bino.

Will also try using Mark V bino + Baader GPC.

More to be posted later on....

Kind regards,

Denis

...and bottom line comparation when eyeguars are removed.

I will be using all eyepeices without rubber eyeguards for more comfort.

I look forward to reading your report.

Apart from your signature Apo, will you be comparing them in another scope?

I will be primarly using/testing them in my LZOS 180mm f/7 APO, but im on waiting list to buy also Takahashi 100mm DZ Fluorite doublet, but have no idea when I will get it.....

But LZOS 180mm APO will be superb for testing.

Denis How did the test go?  I hope you managed to test as there have been quite a few clear nights with pretty good seeing since then?

Hello,

Vixen HR epcs are bit more comfortable (eyeguards removed on both), have less scatter, and are a bit sharper showing bit more easily more details.

The HR does feel slightly more comfortable (I’m referring to single eyepiece viewing here), but I wonder whether that is because the AFOV is much narrower, so you need to get closer to the TOE to see the field stop.
