How does something like this go for 3 weeks without a sale? Seems like a great deal to me.

Easy! It's an over priced finder scope! That's why! LOL
The photo of the C-8 must be old news because I just looked and it says Celestron 8 right on the front.
Q
Maybe you missed the Radian, Nagler, (3) TV PLossls, Everbrite Diagonal, the Telepod mount and Tripod Oh, and a TV QwikPoint (it's the finder scope for this finder scope)

Third time's a charm? Orion SkyView Pro 120mm. Pick up only. This is at least the third time it has been listed, sold, and then listed again a week later.

Tasco 14TE:
https://www.ebay.com...kp:BFBMxNn80IVl
I wouldn't call this scope "rare". I have seen only 2 others, and I had one of them. It is nothing special. The price is way too much, IMO.
(Hate those metal legs.)

Tasco 7TE-5 in Albany, NY, s/n 760973, $200. Looks to be complete and in fair shape, with rust and dust, some delimitation of the box. But also includes the rare Herschel wedge and Tasco drive motor, plus original literature and a 1970 Celestial Calendar.

If it were close to me, I would get it for those extras.

Perhaps a few fun projects / experiments for someone...
1. A rather pretty little Newtonian 6" - $175:

Here's one of those ads I'm linking to in hopes that someone else will buy it so I don't have to figure out where I'd put it! It's arguably not a classic, yet, unless it was made early in production, but it seems cool. A 12" Johnsonian Designs dob: https://losangeles.c...7815473350.html
A bit, maybe a bunch overpriced Cave 8" lightweight deluxe, with a number of upgrades from original parts and a new paint job: https://inlandempire...7814846933.html

Edscorp Palomar Jr. I believe on Marketplace in Springfield, Kentucky $25.00. Looks like it would make a good restoration project.

Old Tasco telescope:
https://shopgoodwill.../item/219600178
I listed this scope before. It's bidding expired, and it was relisted. I believe this is the third time it has been listed in the last couple of weeks.
I sent a message to the store asking them if they would consider shipping. It has a little over a day to go on this listing, we'll see if they will ship the next time.

I wanted it for the tripod. Let's hope they decide to ship it once the listing expires again.

And here's the guy who bought the 5 inch Unitron. He needs some parts if you have them to sell:

Ahah! He has posted pictures of the Unitron 510 on the Unitron Polarex Telescopes FB page. He mentioned that he intends to use the 510 and floated the idea of getting together to set our 510s up next to each other. This one looks like a later production than mine. Looks good!

Good luck finding a 3" guide scope. My 5" had one and RV Optical got the scope from me in the late 80's.

I have contacted the guy and I will see how far I can help him find his Unitron parts/

I put a 3" Unitron "guide scope" on my 6" f/15 Jaegers.
But is it a real guide scope that was made as a guide scope with the ring savers built onto the tube? Or just a 3" Unitron OTA?
