That was a nice rehab, restoration seems a bit much as the condition wasn’t too awful, especially with it going back to the nature center for outreach. I was hoping it was the classic Vixen version though.

I've enjoyed Ed's videos for some time. This one took me back a few years when I owned a C4.5. I always thought it was a great planetary 'scope. The C4.5 met an untimely demise, but I still have the original Vixen Polaris mount with PA scope and tube-crusher rings. The mount still works fine. Pardon the dust ... Cheers.

Interesting scope to rehab, I know a lot of us wouldn't bother with it. But seems like some quick adjustments and some replacement fasteners and he was back in business. A quick restore like this is probably very helpful for keeping cheap outreach scopes like this going.
