Hi.

Here is my setup:

Orion 102ED F7

Antlia OAG with filter drawer

ZWO533MC

ZWO 174mini (guide)

Orion Atlas EQ-G mount

ASIair mini

 

My question is:

Because I had to use a 2" eyepiece adapter to get the OAG to connect to that scope, how do I know where the focus point is? Or, do I just power up the camera and connect the ipad and scroll the focus knob until it comes into view?

 

Is there a better way to attach the OAG to the scope?

The ZWO 533 camera requires a 55 mm back spacing without a reducer, since the camera itself has the 11 mm ring and 6.5 mm to the sensor, you need to add 37.5 mm to achieve 55 mm back focus. check the quick guide book you got with your camera as it shows many different ways to set up .
