pop up dobsonian? It's an interesting, light weight design, but I can't find a review of it anywhere. I found one for sale on craigslist for $850. It's small when collapsed down, so it looks like it's travel friendly.

I looked at one at a star party during daylight, and impressed me as being too flexy.  The truss "poles" are not stiff, but instead roll up.  But I haven't observed with one.

 

I've got one of their EQ platforms, and it works well enough (after some mods).
