I found a curious telescope that I am trying to identify.  There are no identifying marks and some of the lenses are damaged so I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.

I've attached some pics but it can best be described as brass, appears at first to be a megaphone and even has a handle but has optics inside.

Thanks in advance

Bill, Welcome to The Classics!!

Cool old scope!  Haven't seen one with that form-factor AND gold brass.  Some old spotting scopes are conical, but otherwise have traditional paint or fake leather exterior.

What's the objective lens diameter?   Does it give a correct up/down left/right image??

Whoa!!  Big Lens!

Sometimes, no markings means it's a ATM scope.  I've had a couple, and the machining quality was much better than expected.

IF no one chimes in here, I'd recommend you send the pix & info to the Antique Telescope Society -->  https://oldscope.org

Should be a great Deep Sky scope, with that much diameter with a short FL.

It might be refractor that inspired the Astroscan.
