I just found these interesting videos (35) on the study of glass

by Dr John Mauro, based on his book.

It is college level course on how glass it is made, used, what it is, etc....

I think that it is the most complete lectures series on glass.

Since we get asked all kinds of questions about glass. I thought this

should answer most of them. Well worth watching on these

cold winter days and nights. Enjoy

Excellent! I'll save to my favorites and (knowing myself) will no doubt enjoy all the lectures. My son got his 1st degree in Glass Science and worked engineering in that field for a decade. His experience in materials science then led to his current work in... firefighting, specializing in Hazmat. 9/11 and now the LA fires remind us of the importance of Materials Science.    Tom

This golden nugget was found on LinkedIn, one of my followers posted

it and decided it was well worth sharing to everyone. It is amazing to

see how much information (the good stuff) that is available. So if

you have a interest in glass and how it made, used, etc... It should

do well for up coming engineers and techs who need to study this.

Please pass the link on to others, even students in junior or high school

steam programs, who knows it may draw them to a career.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep looking about for more to share.

Wow!  Thanks for the link.  I was in fact just this past week desperately trying to find something to watch while treadmilling for the rest of the winter.  This should carry me a good 70 walks or so!
