Looking through my Meade LX-200 GPS 10” at my game ranch on a chilly night in Lusaka, Zambia.

My two per Zebra (Zippy and Zappy) are usually on hand to provide company!

I wish I had neat observing partners like that!

My LX65 with 6" Mak and a LX85 5" Refractor. Working good together, replaced the laser pointer on Mak with a Astro Tech 60mm guidescope.

Waiting on a LX85 mount if they ever find there way out of quarantine.

My Meade 12" LX200 "Classic". It's been in my garage-top, ROR observatory for the past 19 years. It's been an imaging workhorse all that time.

I've been called a lot of things in my life ... but, never a legend! Thanks for the likes.

New to this area, just came across to this Meade but not sure what it is and what to ask if somebody interested. When I plug the cord and give it a little tap to the box, motor starts working. Overall shape looks pretty decent. Glasses and mirrors seems goo, just dirt.
searching the web looks like a 1977 Meade 826. Couldn’t upload pics since I am not too tech. But if somebody interested please send me a personal message.

Nothing fancy here, just a basic LX-200 ACF 8" setup.  I have replaced the diagonal with a 2" one to use my big TeleVue lenses that I also got, but other than that it's still stock.  Right now I'm waiting on a new illuminated right angle finder scope, though, so it will look a bit different, hopefully soon.

Well, things look great through it, but I've always had trouble with the alignment prcedure.  It used to get true north wrong by about 5 degrees, which made everything off when alaigning.  I think  I've finally fixed that, though, with a complete factory reset and software update of the controller.
