Curious that the "Big military scope" has no picture of the lens.

I am sure it is shot. Right down the road from me.  Cane tore that area up.

Evidently, now that Questar is out of business, used prices have gone up, up, up:

https://www.cloudyni...th-many-extras/

$4600 for a Duplex.

From several recent sales I thought most of the prices were starting to slump.

Some people might get wary to own one now that service and parts will dry up.

(I should've messaged re. that c80 faster!   oh well.)

here on CN:

Unitron 150 - $850, Kansas City

https://www.cloudyni...19-unitron-150/

To anyone that knows:

What are the lower brackets on the outside of the legs for?

I suppose they are clamps, but they look like the upper ones that hold the tray and I don't remember seeing anything similar on another Unitron.

They are stops for unfolding the legs. The bear against the outside struts.

I edited my post and figured they are clamping stops.

Just don't remember seeing another large Unitron with them.

Probably because most of the large Unitron have non-folding legs.

My Unitron 150 mount has the same ones.

I think that Duplex is well priced. It's seen very little, careful use

Bausch & Lomb Criterion 4000 on SGW. These things seem to sell for a pretty penny, which I don't understand considering the bulk of posts here on CL regarding the scope are less than positive.

My Unitron 150 mount has the same ones.

I've always thought the 114 and others, need a clamp like that which holds it from both sides.
