I am looking for a specific kind of focuser collar or visual back for this sweet thing that I picked up at the Winter Star Party. It came with a 1.25" collar but I am looking for a 2". I've pulled a few off of some focusers that I have, but all of them seem to be female threads instead of male. Any suggestions?

Isn't there a corrector doublet in the focuser?

Not in the focuser tube, but there is a corrector doublet in the optical train closer to the focuser than the objective. Does that make a difference? I mostly just want to be able to use my 2" filters.

Not in the focuser drawtube, but in the OTA where the diameter steps to full size. Wrt the eyepiece adapter it play's no role.

The focuser is the same as many other Vixen or Takahashi scopes - 59mm ID drawtube, which accept a M60 threaded adapter. I think Baader has a nice 2" Clicklock one for this.

Ah! That might be what I'm looking for. I tried a 2" collar from my friend's Takahashi scope and it didn't fit so I wasn't sure. Thank you.

Different thread Tak vs Vixen. Nice and fairly rare acquisition by the way.

As others noted, you have M60 threads.

I use Baader Clicklock for Vixen M60 and also the Baader 4 in 1 visual backs on my Vixens.  They are both very well done.

the 4 in 1 has the traditional 120* spaced thumbscrews (actually there’s 2) ….

the lengths are similar.
