Hi everyone,
I recently started taking pictures by securing the camera focus ring tightly (see the following image), and I noticed that it could dramatically reduce out-of-focus pictures. I don’t think the temperature change is causal because it can affect the focus equally, whether securing the focus or not. I never touched the lens during the exposure time. Did the camera lens focus change for any reason?
One more question: I plan to introduce the Astromechanics Canon autofocus adaptor. I can digitally adjust the focus by changing the focus point number on the PC with this adaptor. Can I judge the camera lens focus position unchanged, and is there no need to secure the camera focus ring tightly if the focus position number continues to show the same value throughout the exposure time? Can someone give me some advice?
