Hi I'm in the search for a brass gear for azimuth axis. I have searched everywhere for this part. I even reached out to Celestron, I was told that this is one of the parts that they do not send out that I will have to purchase a whole new mount which is extremely expensive.

All the research that I've searched has stated that the gear comes with two set screws... Only one set crew came with the brass gear I'm thinking this is why it keeps coming loose...And unable to find just the set screws...

Does anyone have this part for sale or know where I could purchase this for may from a third party?

Please see attached image.

Thank you

 Cera

Mcmaster carr probably has what you want.

You will have to count the teeth and measure the gear and shaft

Measure with calipers.  About $20 on Amazon.
