I've recently been looking to buy a star tracker/mount for astrophotography and I stumbled across an iOptron CEM25 selling for 600 bucks and was wondering if its worth it or if i should just spend one hundred more on something like the star adventurer gti. I dont care too much about portability and am mostly concerned with tracking performance.

My setup currently only consists of a canon 75-300m with a canon sl3 but I plan on buying a telescope in the near future.

Thank you for your time!!

I would absolutely not spend more on a GTI, if the CEM25 is in good condition.

The CEM25 has a better payload capacity so should be more future proof.

Super little mount, so long as you treat the worm as if it were brittle caramel and never, ever move the thing loaded, or set it up without a counterweight. Still love mine.
