My take on the Christmas Tree Cluster. Imaged in St. Charles County, MO 2/6/25. NextStar 8SE, Canon 200D, ISO 1600, 320 30-second subframes.

I like it! Partly because it actually looks like a Christmas tree. Many other images have so much nebulosity that the cluster (and thus the "tree" shape) is less obvious.
A very nice image -- thanks for sharing!

Nice result!
Four questions on your setup:
1) Are you using the stock 8se mount?
2) Any filter?
3) Is the camera modified?
4) What reducer are you using? (ex: Celestron versus other brand)

To answer smiller and rj44:
1) Yes, on a wedge. Can't wait to buy a German equatorial. Have to wait to see how much the annual on the airplane will cost.
2) No.
3) Only to the extent that I put tape over the viewfinder. Otherwise, it's a stock Canon 200D (a/k/a SL2). I do use mirror lock up in NINA to minimize vibration.
4) Celestron 0.63
