How about my University Optics 8 inch f/7 it's very far-out and cool I like it.
At one time I mounted it on my black Astrola equatorial and it looked like a bumblebee.

Ever notice how few consumer production scopes are really green? Not the blue-green of TeleVue or Sears, or the green trim of Takahashi, but really forest, lime, or fluorescent green all over (a Tinsley and a Clark have been mentioned in this thread). I’ve seen a few others (a toy scope, and I think an LL Bean). Red, orange, yellow, blue, indigo, and violet are all well represented. There must be some marketing insight behind this.

12.5" f/23 Cassegrain: Teak
10" f/6 Newtonian: Mahogany with indian rosewood stain.
8" f/9 Newtonian: Cherry (the wood, not the color)
Many years ago, I made a 9 sided tube out of Vermilion Padauk for a 5" f/6 Jaegers lens that was in a PVC tube with a built in diagonal and military surplus Erfle. But I haven't used it yet, as the PVC tube works quite well.

How about wrinkle black, not many mentions for this color. I love wrinkle paint.
My 1956 Jupiter is wrinkle black. Doesn't show fingerprints.
There are other advantages to a black painted tube. Read
in here and go to "tube color" https://alpo-astrono...sh/Tel_Tube.pdf

Terra - from a fan of colorful telescopes:
3x red,
3x blue,
2x orange,
2x white

I debated how to arrange them - by color or by shape / size?
Does anyone have a complete spectrum?:
red: Edmund
orange: Celestron
yellow: JSO
green: Televue
blue: Skywatcher
indigo: Meade
violet: Questar

My old man's 1965 4" f/15 Jeagers refractor on his "Super Modfied" iOptron Mini Tower.
I will see if I can find an image of his 6" f/15 which was painted the same color as his 1972 Dodge Polara. It was NOT the factory color, either. LOL

Monochrome can be very aesthetically appealing.
Thomas Jensen's vintage Zeiss Maksutov-Cassegrain is an exceptionally attractive instrument to my eye. The pale cream ("French white") color of both the OTA and mount makes a striking combination.

I've always liked the look of the monochrome instruments make by George Carroll circa the 1970s that had light bluish-grey OTAs and mounts.
