The center of NGC 2064 is only about 13 to 14 arc minutes from Alnitak.

Looks to me that you've confused NGC 2064 (a fainter nebula associated with M78) for NGC 2024, aka the Flame Nebula, aka the Tank-Track Nebula.  That's NGC 2024 (not NGC 2064) that's so close to Alnitak and shown in that linked photo that includes B33, IC-434, and NGC 2023 -- the latter three not being labeled in that photo.

That was an obvious typo. I did indeed mean 2024 (the Flame Nebula).

Well viewing may be tough for awhile, due  to extreme ice, viewing is questionable Cleaned an area but ice says tripods only and even then surface is ugly. Time to try all the different sky softwares and see if any of then really motivate me for electronic locating. So far I have eliminated two they don't seem user friendly, as you can tell I am not overly excited.
