I bought a ZWO 585MC a week ago and finally got it running. Tested it though some high thin clouds tonight using the 14.25" f/3.56, 5x Powermate and Type 1 Paracorr (of course with UV/IR cut filter). Clouds made it a bit of a struggle and I didn't get many clips.

I hadn't really thought about the smaller pixels and ROI needed compared to the 224MC so that was an adjustment. It will take some time to get settings where I like them after using the smaller camera for so long. Still ended up with some artifacts on the dimmer edge of Mars. It will definitely be nice to have the larger chip to find objects, etc.

Jupiter at 75% about 17 minutes earlier but not a lot of details.
