I am aware that Televue contracts out to Astronomik for filters and on the UHC model, add additional process that removed red wave lengths. But is there any design differences in the OIII filters between these two companies? Or is overall is the difference anything significant? Aka the quality control by Televue has shown to make better OIII filters or anything at all I need to know about the difference between these two filters?

From the way TeleVue words it, they're (probably) getting "the cream of the crop" from Astronomic. The reality is, it's safe to say no one could tell the difference (if there even is one) between the two brands without a pretty good spectrophotometer.

What I do notice is that I can thread my OIII filter onto any of my TV eyepieces without turning on a light.

Hi fnc6884 !

I can't add anything of real benefit other than to say that my two TV LP filters have a test % of their pass through efficacy.

I looked through half a dozen or so at my dealer and choose the ones that had the best transmission. IIRC the spread in % was around 3-5%.
I've nebustar2 and OIII 2".

Still relatively new to me so no reviews yet.
