Animation of twelve three-minute videos. I have to lower my standards for seeing or I'd be without Jupiter this season. The NPR region is lacking in detail and Io in front of Jupiter is almost impossible to see. Downsampled to 75%. Hopefully the situation will improve in March.

We have to cope with Jove at a low elevation as well as it really being past the best imaging opportunities in general for everyone, but you've still done pretty well here Karel! waytogo.gif

Thank you, Darryl! For me Jupiter is almost at its highest but because of the loggia I have to wait at least two hours after the culmination and usually other problems are added. So it's good to remember the rare times when conditions came together in the best possible way, especially as I'm approaching the eighties.
