I think maybe when the S70 gets released is to supply a dedicated wedge instead of the tripod , as most people use their own pods anyways
im sure a a wedge would be a big welcome addition

I'd LOVE to see an eyepiece with a mini oled screen just like eVscope does. I know it's not a "real" view but it makes this feel much more immersive. I'd pay extra to have this as an accessory if it's not included in the base model. Having to live view on phone or tablet is such a turn-off when it comes to smart telescopes.

I don’t see that happening. It would be a total redesign of the basic Seestar platform.
I also don’t see an S70 being a good candidate for that. You would want a very fast f ratio and short exposures. I for one, am not interested in having my eye glued to an eyepiece while I wait for an image to slowly get incrementally brighter.
I prefer to let the Seestar do its thing while I look at targets in my visual telescope. I can even have the tablet next to me as a finder chart if I want, and I do frequently. Or, if it’s cold and there is a short window of clear or less than pristine skies, I can put the Seestar outside, I come inside, and do EAA.
A Pegasus Smart Eye would be more appealing because you can couple it to any telescope and tracking mount you have.
To me an eyepiece on a smart telescope is like putting an actual physical keyboard on a smart phones, like they did briefly 15 years ago or so (I had one). Something of a transition feature for people still attached to the earlier technology.

Can be a teleconverter accessory for imrpoved planetary to place in front of the lens, like the “failed” experiment of one of our community posters…
Good planetary imaging requires resolution, which is limited by aperture (among other things). Unless we're trending toward a 6-inch or larger aperture (itself lending itself to a mirror solution rather than a lens), smart scopes will never be good candidates for planetary imaging.

Agree, at 70 aperture, it would just show a few bands in Jupiter and spot Saturn’s rings, but no details.
This example should to be it…
