Well, Europa going into eclipse was perhaps the worst one of those events that I've ever witnessed. Jupiter was sinking into the western sky and the seeing was growing poorer and poorer. While I caught a few glimpses of Europa after it exited occultation, it was quite difficult to observe the subsequent eclipse actually happening. I used the Naylor Observatory's 17" f/15 classical Cassegrain at 170x to watch the event.
